Thanks, Another Believer. I'd suggest Statue of the Marquis de Lafayette (New York City), as with Statue of the Earl of Derby, Parliament Square, for someone identified by his title for short. The disambiguation by location is needed as there are several works at c:Category:Statues of La Fayette. I'd oppose this one. Maybe do an RM. And duh, Bartholdi doesn't have a template yet. I'll toss one together later today, as well as a Lafayette template over the weekend that I've already done a written outline for but will need help on the French revolution section. Marquis de Lafayette (Bartholdi), as it is now. This statue is the honoring of the co-author of the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen by the sculptor of Liberty Enlightening the World, a title which packs a double wallop of human rights and freedom. Marquis de Lafayette (Bartholdi) → Statue of the Marquis de Lafayette (New York City) – Per WP:VAMOS, which says, "For portrait sculptures of individuals in public places the forms "Statue of Fred Foo", "Equestrian statue of Fred Foo" or "Bust of Fred Foo" are recommended, unless a form such as "Fred Foo Memorial" or "Monument to Fred Foo" is the WP:COMMONNAME. If further disambiguation is needed, because there is more than one sculpture of the same person with an article, then disambiguation by location rather than the sculptor is usually better. This may be done as either "Statue of Fred Foo (Chicago)" (typically preferred for North America) or "Statue of Fred Foo, Glasgow" (typically preferred elsewhere)."
