For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or published material; such additions will be deleted. Contributors may use copyrighted publications as a source of information, and, if allowed under fair use, may copy sentences and phrases, provided they are included in quotation marks and referenced properly. The material may also be rewritten, providing it does not infringe on the copyright of the original or plagiarize from that source. Therefore, such paraphrased portions must provide their source. Please see our guideline on non-free text for how to properly implement limited quotations of copyrighted text. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Copyright and other problems[edit]

@Bruce James Duhan Firstly, if you have an external relationship with Miller or his companies, you are required to disclose it per our conflict of interest policy.

I've marked the obituary by Fredenthal as a copyright violation. I see that you said that she gave you permission to use it. Regardless, we don't cut-and-paste obituaries into articles. It is unusable as it does not have an encyclopedic tone, with overblown wording and passages like "was known for his original and lively personality". I think Miller probably qualifies for an article, but given the persistent copyright violations, lack of references, peacockery, and other issues, this is close to WP:TNT territory. gobonobo + c 19:14, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
