[edit]This man is an independent candidate in a European election? That's relatively notable! Certainly more than the random Star Trek and Harry Potter character pages that pervade this site. Dybeck (talk) 19:49, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
I believe Steven Cheung is notable because: 1. He is the first Chinese to stand in the European Election 2. At 19th, he is the youngest ever candidate 3. He is a well know figure among the Chinese community as a popular DJ 4. He is a winner of Princess Diana Award 5. He has received coverage from many notable sources including BBC, China Daily, Xin Hua and Apple Daily. The references used here are mainly English one. A search in Chinese Google will reveal a few thousands more entries. User:Nokian70 —Preceding undated comment added 17:46, 16 May 2009 (UTC).
- I'm not so sure, this looks to me more like a WP:BLP1E - people only 'notable' for one event or incident. I've tagged it with the Notability template for now, but I'll come back at a later date to consider if the coverage is really sufficient for our purposes or not.
