[edit]There's probably other things to do. I have a boatload of photos, and not just of the carnival rides as you normally see in these type of articles. However: Solka, Paul and Bremer, Art. Adventures in Alaska Journalism Since 1903. 1980, Commercial Printing Co., Fairbanks, which is used heavily as a source for Fairbanks Daily News-Miner, states that William Fentress Thompson and Ernest Forrest Jessen, the former the paper's editor-publisher and the latter also associated with the paper on and off for many years, were instrumental in the fair's early days as well. I've seen other references to Thompson's role. If someone is up to it, they may wish to check this out, as the current article refers more to fairs in Alaska in general than to this fair.RadioKAOS (talk) 23:57, 20 September 2012 (UTC)
