I've redirected this moribund page to Development#Science_and_technology which covers nearly everything that was in the article. Reviewing various literature, "Technology development" is management speak for the development process of "research and development". It might make sense to instead turn this page into a disambiguation page linking to the generic articles like R&D and Emerging technologies, and specific notable articles of development in industry like Drug development and Energy development. aprock (talk) 16:44, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Came across this page while working on WP:DPL. It seemed the majority of the links to this redirect would be best served by pointing to Research and development. I went through the articles linking here, changed those that seemed to have a better fit from the list on the "Development" disambig page, and then changed this redirect to point to Research and development.
