Public Domain?[edit]

I have removed

It is now in the public domain because of missing copyright indication.{{fact|date=September 2008}}

bcz it is

  1. unsourced;
  2. seems contrary to the precedent of Pygmalion, where the lapsed-copyright film remained protected bcz it was a derivative work of the still copyright-protected play; and
  3. the editor who contributed is not immediately available to respond.

I could easily be wrong, but i think our putting out false info potentially encouraging copyvios by others would be pretty bad, and bad enuf to insist on verification w/o delay.

Probably The Man with the Golden Arm is in public domain. We can search copyright information of post-1950 movies in copyright database. I can't find copyright information about The Man with the Golden Arm in Motion Picture. If till copyrighted, What are these DVDs[1][2][3]?add signMikomaid (talk) 01:33, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect Synopsis[edit]

I didn't want to offend any of the nutjobs out there, but in the scene where he follows the pusher home and tries to find his stash of heroin, the article says he finds some. Also, he agrees for Schwiefka to pay his bail before, not after, he sees the guy in his cell going crazy and saying he needs a fix. I'm making the change. Wastrel Way (talk) Eric

Poster Resizing[edit]

I don't know how to get the poster the right size in the infobox without that coding being there, otherwise the image would appear very big. Don't recall any other articles with this problem, VEO15 (talk) 15:38, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unsquare Dance[edit]

I have corrected (deleted) the assertion, here and on the song' own article, that the song "Unsquare Dance" was the opening title theme for this movie. That movie predates the composition of "Unsquare Dance" by six years, and the two songs don't sound anything like each other. Well, they both have drums and horns in them! The Google Doodle of 2013 for the movie does indeed feature "Unsquare Dance" for some unknown reason.
