Contesting Speedy Deletion

[edit]

I cannot find the button to contest the speedy deletion of this page. Please advise ways to improve this page vs. deleting it. The Word Network is an international African American Christian TV network, and notable. Speedy deletion based on the networks lack of notability does not appear to be a valid reason to delete the article (which is sourced). Please advise. Thank you. Speedy deletion has already been declined, so there's nothing to worry about, feel free to go ahead and improve the article. It's notability still needs some work, independent sources are a bit lacking, try to improve that aspect. Look for articles in mainstream news media, magazines, etc. Right now this article stands on sources connected to the subject such as broadcasters that carry it's channels. Will do. Thank you for your feedback. EllenSheehy (talk) 21:25, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
(Dodger67)Should the Speedy Deletion tag be removed from the article?EllenSheehy (talk) 21:34, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The Speedy tag is long gone. The tag that is still there relates to the lack of independent sources - see the links on the tag, they lead to guidlines. There is no hurry to do it but try to get it resolved soon anyway. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 21:48, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality

[edit]

This article basically just rehashes press releases from the network. It needs more balanced coverage. When I search for "The Word Network" on Google News, many of the hits are about legal disputes and a dispute with Sirius XM, but these aren't mentioned in the article at all.
