Chicago Bypass
[edit]This line was suggested as a (much needed?) Chicago bypass, but a serious upgrade wouldbe needed, possibly even duplication of several bridges, several grade sseparated crossings, possibly even a large joint yard for the heaviest users. would possibly be a national development project in other countries. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.76.15.89 (talk) 11:37, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
SFLR
[edit]While browsing TPW photos on the hobbyist site http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=3120444 I noted that the former TPW trackage through Cuba, IL is labeled on their pop-up map SFLR. Since the ATSF was involved in the TPW in the past I'm guessing that part stands for Santa Fe, but since I can't find any explanation with a few differently formed Google searches I'm curious what SFLR stands for?
And if you have references for that answer it might warrant inclusion in the TPW page. Boteman (talk) 20:30, 28 April 2014 (UTC)
