Neutrality of the article

Can we discuss why the neutrality of this article was raised in 2014?

Tom Paxton obviously had leftist views. Is the idea that this article is speaking from that voice?

A bit of the tone of the article is quite congratulatory of him. Is that the issue?

Tom Paxton is a giant of the American folk scene, and his songwriting alone makes him noteworthy. I'm gonna try to sharpen up the encyclopedic language of the article. I don't believe the issues I raised above are major, or even necessarily exist. But this good article can get better. CarolOfTheForest (talk) 12:43, 20 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
