Did You Know
A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on April 14, 2007.
The text of the entry was: Did you know ...that the Beta Effect, which affects larger tropical cyclones and needs to be accounted for in tropical cyclone forecasting, forces a more northwest tropical cyclone track in the Northern Hemisphere?

It's Alive!

[edit]

This page has finally been created. I don't anticipate merging tropical cyclone rainfall forecasting or tropical cyclone prediction model into this page because they will serve as useful subarticles. Thegreatdr 16:13, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Forecasting Models

[edit]

There's no section or other mention of the forecasting models that are frequently seen on TV. Can a link be placed, or some discussion of these models be added? Hires an editor (talk) 02:14, 12 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There's a link for that just underneath the header of the track section. Thegreatdr (talk) 15:11, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
