Conversion to an article[edit]

The recent conversion of this redirect to an article seems to be based on a mis-reading of the sources. They say that the tracks found in Australia and identified as "Tyrannosauropus" (a mis-spelling of Tyrannosauripus according to Paleofile) are not this ichnogenus, and so need to be given another name. This source says "we need to re-name the large Lark Quarry tracks Amblydactlyus cf. A. gethingi". So I believe that the content that replaced the redirect needs to be put in a new article at Amblydactlyus (if this is the right spelling – but should it be "Amblydactylus", which exists?) with appropriate changes. I'm now convinced the created article already existed at Amblydactylus. Peter coxhead (talk) 06:56, 24 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Just leaving a note here for any later editors to say that this issue was resolved over at the Wiki:Project talk page, and that although the original conversion content was not accurate, conversion to its own article was nonetheless appropriate.
