Sibling served as MP for Dover[edit]

One of his siblings, George Berkeley, served as MP for Dover.
Dover (UK Parliament constituency) has a George Berkeley (died 1746) representing that seat in the 1720s, but his bio lists different parents and the dates are hard to square with this article. No other Berkeleys appear on the list of MPs. See also George Berkeley (disambiguation). Recheck the source, or something? Moscow Mule (talk) 16:45, 6 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I see what happened. That paragraph beginning "Fourth, George Berkeley, youngest son..." (after the para dealing with Velters Cornewall Berkeley) in the Peerage of England refers back to George the fourth son of Charles the Second Earl, not George the fourth son of Lionel Spencer Berkeley. Confusing! Moscow Mule (talk) 17:30, 6 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yeh, I had to read it several times and I'm still not sure who is who. I've removed it for now but when I've worked out what the relationship was, I'll rewrite it. Thanks for spotting that.--Ykraps (talk) 07:20, 7 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
