Intro, citations, adding sections
[edit]Hi, My name is Caitlin and I am coming across this article January 18, 2022. There are a couple things I would like to do to help improve this article. I think adding a few sections would be great, especially to differentiate the different reasons one might be considered a vulnerable adult. I think adding links to other articles could be helpful. There are many places where citations should be found and added as well as some minor grammatical and spelling fixes. I'm excited to work on this article. Does anyone have any thoughts about these changes I've mentioned? Cwren3 (talk) 01:34, 21 January 2022 (UTC)
- I agree with the improvements you suggested, especially adding sections to elaborate on criteria for vulnerable adults. I also think adding images would improve the article, as well as reducing the amount of repeating words and phrases. Overall, simplifying (especially in the lead) to make content more specific and less general, as well as updating sources would be helpful. Madi Thomas (talk) 03:42, 6 May 2022 (UTC)
Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 Modifications
[edit]Hi, this article still references s. 59 Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006, which has since been repealed. I don't feel qualified to make an edit to reflect the changes, so I'm hoping someone else does. The new definition of Vulnerable Adult can be found in ss. 60(1) of the act. autumn (talk) 16:41, 18 July 2024 (UTC)
