French media refer him as Wendel Geraldo, and per Brazilian culture Maurício e Silva is ONE surname, and Geraldo is a given name (sometimes surname), and usually Brazilian name composite of paternal and maternal surnames, and the order differ (either the first one or last one is paternal), so seems his surname is Geraldo Maurício e Silva or Maurício e Silva Matthew_hk t c 09:09, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
