Something missing here[edit]

"Harcourt was commissioned into the First Regiment of Foot Guards in October 1759.[1] The regiment had been raised at his father's expense and was known as Harcourt's Black Horse.[1]"

A reference has clearly been excised here. The First Regiment of Foot Guards, dating as a Regiment from the Restoration of King Charles II in 1660, were clearly not raised for his son by the Earl of Harcourt in the mid-C18th.
