When was he mayor of Oakville[edit]

There appears to be conflicting dates as to when he was the mayor of Oakville. When I first saw this article, the period given was 1873-1874. This conflicted with the information from the town of Oakville's chronology of mayors and this which lists him as mayor from 1871-1872. However, this account supports the period from 1873-1874. And just to confuse matters further, the Parliament Info shows only 1872. I've left it in the article as 1871-1872 because more sources indicate this as the period, and the Parliament entry is sort of supporting it. If there is some more definitive documentation, then it would be useful to get this straightened out. -- Whpq (talk) 20:57, 22 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
