Pierre Bergé[edit]

Perhaps it is a bit of a shame that Pierre Bergé gets redirected here, since he is also the director of Têtu, arguably the best-known gay magazine in France. Uhoh disaster! I added a link from a machine without sound support. When I check back, the pronunciation doesn't sound the way I'd expect it to. The way I think it should be pronounced is here: http://www.forvo.com/word/yves_saint_laurent/ my french is tray movay though, so could an expert give it their attention? Thanks! Exactly, per the Larousse encyclopaedia (version from 2008): ”15 novembre [1957] : le jeune homme prend la tête de la maison Dior. Il décide aussitôt de retirer le tiret de son patronyme : il devient Yves Saint Laurent.” (“15 November [1957]: the young man takes over the head of the House of Dior.
