Adipati Dolken[edit]

  • ... that the Indonesian actor Adipati Dolken adopted his stage name from the villa where he stayed while on vacation in Puncak? Source: [Roughly translated] "[W]ouldn't you know it, [...] Adipati Dolken is not Adipati's real name[...]! There is a unique origin behind that name. Adipati's real name is Adipati Koesmadji. In his early career, [...] he was considering assuming a new name. It so happened then that Adipati was staying at a villa in Puncak. 'Dolken is a Dutch surname. [The Dolken person] owns the villa where I stayed. Somehow, I'm fond of that name, so I adopt it,' recounts the German-descended [?] guy." (Gadis by Femina Group)
    • ALT1:... that despite his Dutch last name, Indonesian actor Adipati Dolken is actually of German descent?
  • ALT2: ... that at the age of 22, Indonesian actor Adipati Dolken won the Piala Citra (Citra Award) for Best Supporting Actor at the 2013 Indonesian Film Festival? Source: "The [...] 2013 Indonesian Film Festival gave Adipati Dolken his first Citra Award. The young, August 19, 1991-born actor earned the Citra Award for Best Supporting Actor." (KapanLagi.com)

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems

Hook eligibility:

  • Cited: No - ?
  • Interesting: Yes
QPQ: None required.

Overall: No copyvios detected with Earwig tool. User has less than five DYK credits, therefore QPQ is not required. ALT0 and ALT2 are both catchy, whereas ALT1 is not. There are many statements in the career section without a citation. I'm unsure if some citations apply to multiple paragraphs or not. I suggest either adding more citations, or combining short paragraphs. ALT2 is cited in the article, but it also needs to be copied into this nomination for clarity. Here are some other suggestions for the article, but they are not critical to the DYK process:

  1. An IPA or phoenetic pronunciation of his name would be helpful to English readers
  2. Article should be added to more categories
  3. I question if his height is relevant in the infobox, and his most notable awards should in the infobox

Thanks. Flibirigit (talk) 16:49, 22 October 2018 (UTC)

I just added the source for ALT2. As to your suggestions, I've both combined some short paragraphs and added some more citations (whilst still trying to find other sources), and added the IPA, one more category (based on the info I've gathered on the actor), and the notable award to the infobox (I'm not sure I should erase the height because the actor occasionally models). —Angga (formerly Angga1061) 20:00, 25 October 2018 (UTC)
@Angga: Thanks for the changes. The sourcing is much improved. Do you have any additional sources for him modeling? Those should be added somewhere. I don't see modeling mentioned or cited anywhere in the article. I will verify the hooks shortly. Thanks. Flibirigit (talk) 20:45, 25 October 2018 (UTC)
Both hooks ALT0 and ALT2 are interesting, and verified with the citations provided. Article could be improved if modeling is cited, otherwise nomination is good to go as is. Flibirigit (talk) 21:21, 25 October 2018 (UTC)
