• The subject is rather technical, for me anyway. Perhaps something vaguely salacious such as:

• ALT1 ... that air stripline has been superseded by microstrip?

  Well, that's not exactly correct so I've struck it. Air stripline is still in use and is the preferred technology for some things. We could have,

• ALT2 ... that air stripline is used in preference to the more widely used microstrip for some applications?

• ALT3 ... that air stripline has largely been superseded by microstrip?

Personally I really don't like that very much. It is negative about the subject and although true, misleading if taken in isolation. SpinningSpark 18:32, 4 January 2017 (UTC)

I'm not that keen on it either, but it is challenging material to come up with anything hookier. Hooks are a bit like newspaper headlines, as long as they are not untrue, the aim should be to get us to click through to the article. Even if it is perhaps a bit negative, the relevant criterion is, "does not focus unduly on negative aspects of living people", and this is an inanimate object, so not relevant. I didn't say anything about criteria or living persons. It's perfectly legitimate not to like it because it is negative. SpinningSpark 21:12, 4 January 2017 (UTC)

I'm not involved in the review of this article, but I dropped by to offer ALT4, which should be easily understood by most readers. Mindmatrix 19:43, 17 January 2017 (UTC)
