Allen Butler Talcott[edit]

The Great Oak, painted by Allen Butler Talcott

  • ... that a fellow artist said of Allen Butler Talcott that "no one was his peer in the knowledge of trees and how to paint them" (painting of oak pictured)?

  • - @Mandarax: New enough, long enough, not a copyvio, and fairly interesting. However, I have just tagged the page with a {{lead too short}} tag as the lede is one sentence long. Perhaps this doesn't matter, but all the same I think the article would be better suited to being on the main page if the lede were longer. King Jakob C2 01:20, 20 July 2013 (UTC)
