Antipsychotic switching[edit]

  • ... that there are multiple ways to switch antipsychotics? Source: "There are principally four strategies when switching antipsychotic treatment...Correll subdivides these switching strategies into further groups...so that altogether eight different switching strategies are available." (DOI 10.1007/s40263-013-0079-5)
    • ALT1:... that switching antipsychotics can cause a supersensitivity psychosis? Source: "After an abrupt discontinuation of dopamine antagonists, a rebound psychosis might develop due to the up-regulation of receptors through a higher sensitivity for the physiologically released dopamine—based on this assumption also called supersensitivity psychosis..." Overall: Important article, you have made it simple to understand. Main source written by people with possible COI- i.e. work for major pharmaceutical companies. In spite of that, reputable and neutral. I prefer proposed hook. Copyvio 2%, all else straightforward. There is only one category...could have more?? I actually look forward to seeing which articles you create..an amazing asset to Wikipedia. Thank you. Whispyhistory (talk) 12:54, 7 May 2018 (UTC)
