Article is new enough, long enough, neutral, and well referenced. QPQ is done. No copyvio issues. Image is public domain. ALT1 is interesting and verified with supplied source. I'm fine with it but from my past experience with DYK, some readers may raise objection as it may be seen as sensationalizing an execution. ALT0 is also interesting but less so. It is however not fully supported by the source, which does not say he organized the group of 300 lawyers. -Zanhe (talk) 23:35, 19 February 2019 (UTC)

- I agree ALT2 is a bit boring. I have trouble verifying ALT3 though, as neither source explicitly says Chiu and Hu were the first two candidates of NPP. Also, I don't think Hu needs to be mentioned here, as he does not have an article and the hook should focus on the highlighted article.
