  • Date and length fine, AGF on foreign language source. Unfortunately because this got buried for so long, we cannot run it until after 8 October as we're currently within the 30 day "blackout" period for election hooks. Therefore I have made a minor edit to the tense which does not affect the crux of the hook. QPQ done, no close paraphrasing. Good to go after the elections on 8 October.— Preceding unsigned comment added by The C of E (talkcontribs) 16:03, 26 August 2016 (UTC)
  • I fail to see how posting this before the Palestinian elections is going to affect the turnout. We recently ran a Jordanian election hook on the day of the election. I suggest returning this to the general noms area, and am bringing it up at WT:DYK. Yoninah (talk) 14:12, 26 September 2016 (UTC)
  • We did not run the Jordan election hook on election day. It was requested to be run on the day of the Sept 20 election, and promoted there. However, it was moved to run Sept 22. — Maile (talk) 15:44, 26 September 2016 (UTC)
  • @Soman: please update the article with the election results before we run this. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 16:34, 9 October 2016 (UTC)
  • @Soman: were they rescheduled for another date? We need to know so this won't run within 30 days of the election date. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 18:43, 12 October 2016 (UTC)
  • Nope, no date set. --Soman (talk) 05:57, 13 October 2016 (UTC)
  • @Soman: OK. Please add something about the postponement to the article and then we can promote it. Yoninah (talk) 07:19, 13 October 2016 (UTC)
I'm returning this to the general nominations area pending further work, since it is long past the date that it can run. Yoninah (talk) 13:49, 18 October 2016 (UTC)
  • Adding details about postponement now. --Soman (talk) 20:51, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
  • Thank you, the page looks like a solid start-class article now. No close paraphrasing seen in new sources. Restoring tick per The C of E's review. Yoninah (talk) 21:06, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
