  • Comment: This nomination would have been only one day late, but I was unable to get around to nominating it this morning, and as I live in the US Eastern Standard time zone, the noms moved forward another day. I started preparing this at midnight here at home. I apologize that it's slightly late, the past few days have been a whirlwind for me to balance. I have a double-nom listed below for my QPQ to help compensate the backlog.

  • The focus of this hook might be a bit too negative per WP:BLP. She obviously doesn't think it's a bad thing to be a so-called "former lesbian", but highlighting the fact that she's been criticised for it is perhaps not the best thing to place on the main page. 97198 (talk) 05:45, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
I did consider this. I'm headed to bed now, I should have an alternate hook tomorrow.--¿3family6 contribs 05:59, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
Suggested some alts below:--¿3family6 contribs 15:58, 19 November 2014 (UTC)

ALT 1 ... that rapper and poet Jackie Hill-Perry has controversially claimed to be a former lesbian?

ALT 2 ... that poet Jackie Hill-Perry has started branching out into hip hop music, releasing her debut album in November 2014?

  • Going for ALT2 because it has inline citations and is less controversial. The article is long enough and practically-speaking new enough. The article is neutral and I detected no close paraphrasing issues. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:19, 6 December 2014 (UTC)
