  • Comment ALT1 could be okay, but the main hook fails "interesting". Edwardx (talk) 23:20, 6 September 2016 (UTC)
  • This article is a five-fold expansion and is new enough and long enough. The original hook facts are supported by inline citations and the article is neutral. The Spanish language sources make it difficult for me to consider copyright issues. I believe the original hook is interesting in that it demonstrates how many different states/locations this politician has represented. I do not think ALT1 is acceptable as it is unduly negative about a living person (like the "ghost deputy" of another hook). Cwmhiraeth (talk) 09:08, 11 September 2016 (UTC)
  • And ALT0 is interesting... why? Is this unusual? EEng 18:43, 11 September 2016 (UTC)
  • Agreed. ALT0 is a boring list of "so what?" facts. Edwardx (talk) 20:23, 11 September 2016 (UTC)
  • Both the original hook and ALT1 have issues as noted above. Please propose an interesting ALT2. Thank you. BlueMoonset (talk) 22:31, 12 September 2016 (UTC)
@BlueMoonset: I'm pulling this nom — see Gustavo Cárdenas Gutiérrez. Raymie (tc) 00:05, 13 September 2016 (UTC)
