The article has been nominated on time, is well over stub-territory (2840 characters), and appears to be complete enough. It is written well enough for DYK purposes and reliable sources are used to support nearly all, if not completely all, material (the Discography section is unsourced but I'm not too concerned about that for terms of DYK as all material in it is cited in another section). I cannot find any substantially duplicated text from sources besides quotes, so no copyvio/close para/plagiarism is present. Hook is hooky, clear and concise, and is mentioned in the article with a good citation. No pic is used and QPQ has been done. Per the request to use for February Black History Month, I will be adding this to Template talk:Did you know/Approved#Special occasion holding area (I've never approved special occasion hooks before so please let me know if I'm doing this wrong).--SkyGazer 512 Oh no, what did I do this time? 17:30, 17 February 2019 (UTC)
