  • ... that Kalanimoku caused the death of his wife Likelike (pictured) and their son Lanihau with cannon fire outside their house?
    • ALT1:... that Likelike (pictured) and her son died of shock after her husband fired cannons outside their house?
    • ALT2:... that Kalanimoku fired so many cannons to celebrate the birth of his son, that he caused the death of his wife Likelike (pictured) and their son Lanihau?

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
Image: Image is freely licensed, used in the article, and clear at 100px.
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Check complete. Well sourced; every paragraph and nearly every sentence has a footnote. The hook is well cited to Kamaku p. 250 at least. QPQ is done. Public domain picture good quality, and used in article's infobox. Full plagiarism check is impractical due to extensive use of printed books, but spot check of Google Books is good, AGF for rest. Interesting and neutrally written. Brianhe (talk) 00:01, 22 November 2016 (UTC)

  • Comment The phrase "indirectly killed" sounds clunky to me. Perhaps "caused the death of". Edwardx (talk) 01:03, 23 November 2016 (UTC)
  • I went ahead and changed it. I just didn't want to say directly "killed" so "caused the death" works as well. Does it need a second review or is change minuscule enough not to matter? --KAVEBEAR (talk) 02:11, 23 November 2016 (UTC)
  • Thanks KAVEBEAR. I concur with your reasoning, and have done the same for ALT2. No review needed - this is the sort of thing that should get tweaked later on anyway. Edwardx (talk) 10:16, 23 November 2016 (UTC)
