  • Comment: For Alt1, there would be too many sources to list all of the deaths. They are listed after each storm. If there are doubts about the veracity, then I would go with the first hook, which is a little more bland.

  • New enough, long enough, within policy, well-written, hooks are cited in the article and interesting. I like ALT1 much better than the original; another hook that I can think of just glancing at the article would be that the hurricanes collectively caused nearly $100 billion dollars in damage and/or the fact that most of that was caused by Hurricane Sandy alone. Image is tagged as public domain which is correct and good-quality, QPQ has been done, and no other apparent issues that I can see. Should be ready to go.--SkyGazer 512 Oh no, what did I do this time? 14:44, 30 November 2018 (UTC)
  • The problem with ALT1 is that it would require hundreds of citations for the hook. I rather liked that one too. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 15:45, 30 November 2018 (UTC)
  • @Hurricanehink: another problem with ALT1 is there are too many numbers in it. Do you mind if I promote ALT0? Yoninah (talk) 12:12, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
  • I have no issues. It's easier to verify the original than ALT1. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 16:24, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
From what I can tell, the bolded part is Category 3 on the Saffir-Simpson scale (as in the whole phrase itself). I'll promote thus, but will only bold the Category 3 part. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 14:44, 17 December 2018 (UTC)
