Marilyn Knowlden

  • ... that throughout her career in the 1930s and 1940s, Marilyn Knowlden appeared in six films that received nominations for Best Picture at the Academy Awards? Source: "How many actors or actresses can say they were in six films nominated for the best picture academy award between 1930 and 1940? Just one: Marilyn Knowlden" [1] & "I was in some big pictures ---- important pictures,” said Knowlden. “I was in six films that were nominated for Best Picture in the 1930s" [2]
  • Reviewed: This is the first time I'm doing DYK, so no QPQ needed.
  • Comment: Expansion began on 16 July.

  • Article has been fivefold expanded fivefold, is of sufficient length, and appears well referenced. The hook is stated, backed with the relevant inline citations, and is under 200 characters. Hook looks interesting. Personally, I would have gone with "... throughout the 1930s and 1940s, child actress Marilyn Knowlden..." which is shorter, but yours might be more "hooky". No signs of plagiarism or close paraphrasing. No QPQ needed. Should be ready for promotion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shuipzv3 (talkcontribs)
Thanks for reviewing this. I'm fine with either phrasing. Perhaps the word career is in fact superfluous as it is implied in the context.OscarL 22:10, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
