Michaelbrent Collings[edit]

  • ... that Michaelbrent Collings had more screenplays make it to the quarter and semifinals of the Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting in a single year than any other writer who ever participated in the competition? Source: "[Collings] is also recognized for the most screenplays advanced to the quarter and semifinals of the Academy Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting competition in a single year than any other writer in the history of the competition?" (Boise Weekly pg. 12)
    • ALT1:... that horror author Michaelbrent Collings used the pen name "Angelica Hart" for his western romance series? Source: "Q. So this pen name…Angelica Hart. You kind of explained to me about choosing to write as a woman. Well, under a woman’s pen name anyway. A. Yeah. Everyone who said, “You should write romance!” followed it up with, “But not, you know, as YOU. Because who wants romance from a GUY? Especially a guy known for books with titles like THE HAUNTED or APPARITION or TWISTED?” So Angelica Hart was born." (interview with the author)

  • Article was created less than 7 days ago, is of an appropriate length, and responds to all DYK criteria. Main hook looks a bit promotional to me, but the second hook sounds more interesting, both are adequately sourced.
  • ALT1 hook good to go. --Randykitty (talk) 16:57, 7 March 2019 (UTC)
