VDM-1, now Template:Did you know nominations/Signaling of the New York City Subway - Comment: Consider this nomination for possible inclusion for the April 1, 2019 DYKs. I realize this is not the most amazing article ever written but it was fun and would definitely make readers say "Huh?"

New enough (5x expansion began on 28 April 2018), not long enough ( 1,381 characters "readable prose size") - 2 (a) Articles must have a minimum of 1,500 characters of prose, fully referenced. As this has stalled, I'll pick it up. Date from redirect fine, length is now OK and the hook is very good. QPQ one, no close paraphrasing. I'm happy for this to to be the first DYK in next year's April Fools sets so well done on that. If you change your mind on that, I'll put it back here @Barbara (WVS):. The QPQ is not a complete review, but it does not appear that the editor is required to submit a QPQ. However, several lines in the Benefits section are not sourced, per Rule D2. I moved up the cite under Techniques to cover all the points, but as I am unable to open the source, I cannot verify that the source indeed covers all these points.
