  • New enough, easily long enough, no apparent copyright/plagiarism concerns, hook is cited, confirmed by the cited source and potentially interesting to readers. Awaiting QPQ, but once that's done good to go. ‑ Iridescent 13:27, 15 February 2018 (UTC)
QPQ done by Whispyhistory. Philafrenzy (talk) 18:26, 15 February 2018 (UTC)
Alt1 ...that in 1896, Arthur Schuster illustrated his lectures on the newly-discovered X-rays with images of his daughter Norah Schuster (hands pictured) that required a 10 minute exposure? Philafrenzy (talk) 18:39, 16 February 2018 (UTC)
@Iridescent: Could you please review this Alt? I think it is stronger than the original hook when combined with the X-ray. Thanks. Philafrenzy (talk) 00:01, 17 February 2018 (UTC)
AGF on the offline source; although it's sourced to the Independent, the article dates to the period prior to the Russian takeover when the Independent was still a credible newspaper, so I don't see a problem with the source. In my personal opinion ALT1 is better iff it's combined with the image and if this is run without the image I'd go with the original hook, but I'll leave that decision to whoever schedules it. ‑ Iridescent 14:14, 17 February 2018 (UTC)
