Tom Cade[edit]

  • The 1980 NYT article used as a reference within the article is paywalled, but the citation itself for the hook is accessible; successful verification of other statements in the article based on a spot-check. Article is both new enough and long enough for DYK, and the hook is both interesting and short enough. The usage of "it" in the hook itself may be misleading, however, so I would propose this slightly modified version of the hook, which I will leave up to the discretion of the DYK volunteer who closes this nomination:
