Tone Roads No. 1

  • ... that Tone Roads No. 1, a composition for chamber ensemble by Charles Ives, was originally titled "Tone Roads, rough ones—good ones, bad ones, fast ones, slow ones!"? Source: [1]

Created by Ron Oliver (talk). Nominated by Gerda Arendt (talk) at 21:52, 8 August 2021 (UTC).

  • General eligibility:
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems

Hook eligibility:

  • Cited: Yes - Offline/paywalled citation accepted in good faith
  • Interesting: Yes
  • Other problems: Yes

QPQ: No - Too close to a "checkmark review" for my comfort–try and use the Template:DYK checklist to make sure you hit all the major points.
Overall: Everything looks good! just make sure the QPQ is up to scratch, and I'll OK the nomination. theleekycauldron (talkcontribs) (they/them) 00:33, 11 August 2021 (UTC)

Thank you for the review, but sorry, I do my reviews my way, have done so for more than 1,600. Check for my name. This one was just fine (while I normally nag a lot). --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:54, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
I agree with Gerda here. The QPQ was telegraphic but there were no obvious problems with the nomination that the QPQ missed, and Gerda is experienced enough with DYK that I think (especially per WP:AGF) we can reasonably expect all the rules to have been checked. If the QPQ is the only problem with this nomination, then there is no problem and it should go forward. —David Eppstein (talk) 19:16, 14 August 2021 (UTC)
