Tsvetana Jermanova

  • ... that 95-year-old Tsvetana Jermanova is the last living survivor of the forced labour camps in Communist Bulgaria? Source: ""До последно са ни подслушвали": Цветана, последната оцеляла жена от лагерите в Босна и Белене". Dnevnik (in Bulgarian). 13 November 2022. Retrieved 30 November 2023.

  • This article is certainly new and long enough. The hook fact is cited and interesting. QPQ has been done. AGF on the Bulgarian sources. All the best, --KINGofLETTUCE 👑 🥬 23:01, 30 November 2023 (UTC)
@Grnrchst: we are always worried about bold claims of first, last, etc. This claim seems to be from local TV station (Bulgaria in the morning) and a website financed by The America for Bulgaria Foundation. I think we may need a better source for the bold "last" claim. Bruxton (talk) 17:46, 3 December 2023 (UTC)

@Bruxton I'd have to have a look for other sources. I've found more sources on Jermanova, but none so far that make the "last" claim. I could maybe go with the less bold "one of the last" instead? Or perhaps write an alternate hook? --Grnrchst (talk) 18:41, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
@Grnrchst: I think we are ok saying "surviving" but I want to "phone a friend" and hope they answer for an opinion. @Theleekycauldron: what do you think about us using the "last" claim here? Bruxton (talk) 20:10, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
@Bruxton: looks to me like not only is it from a local station, it's something like a long-form description for a documentary short they put together. The fact that no other sources make the claim does also suggest to me that it's a little shaky. theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 20:19, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
Ok, I've gone ahead and removed the claim from the article, just in case. To suggest some alts:
Both of these are sourced to the Bulgarian National Television, which I hope is more clearly reliable as a source for DYK. --Grnrchst (talk) 21:38, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
Thanks@Grnrchst: we will need @Kingoflettuce: to approve. I prefer ALT1. Bruxton (talk) 21:51, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
So do I. Cheers, KINGofLETTUCE 👑 🥬 21:53, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
