William Norcott (satirist)[edit]

  • ... that Irish lawyer and satirist William Norcott ended his life in poverty in Constantinople where he was decapitated and his body thrown into the sea?

Created by Philafrenzy (talk) and Whispyhistory (talk). Nominated by Philafrenzy (talk) at 21:30, 6 May 2018 (UTC).

  • Can confirm that the article was nominated within seven days after its creation and is written in a neutral tone and is of the necessary length. Earwigs showed a low chance of a copyright violation. Hook is neutral, interesting, is less than 200 characters and cited to a reliable source. Just awaiting for the QPQ review to be completed so that this nomination can be passed. MWright96 (talk) 20:15, 9 May 2018 (UTC)
  • Okay since the QPQ has been done, this is all ok. MWright96 (talk) 12:16, 17 May 2018 (UTC)
