Yunchi[edit]

  • ... that Japanese singer Yunchi was Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's junior at their agency? Source: "Yun*chi 『Yun*chi』インタビュー" (in Japanese). Billboard Japan. Retrieved November 23, 2017.

  • Article is new, meets the length requirement, and is likely to appeal to a broad audience since the singer has a large number of youtube views. However, it looks like some citations are missing from the intro section. The same information appears later in the article with citations, but it wouldn't hurt to have the citations in the introduction as well.  :* -->
@Rasa2017: Per WP:LEAD, it's not required to have references in the lead, unless the content that's being cited is controversial or contentious. There's nothing contentious in the lead (aside from maybe the birthday, which is already cited), and while it's not prohibited, in uncontroversial cases it's discouraged to have footnotes in the lead if there's nothing contentious. @Narutolovehinata5: I guess since I am more accustomed to working with scientific topics I lean towards more rather than less citations, but you're right that it's not actually required to cite every fact in the lead. Small note: there's a typo in the lead "she released first single" probably meant to be "she released her first single..." Other than that, DYK ready! Rasa2017 (talk) 22:58, 24 November 2017 (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but I wonder: Other than her music company and the Anime News Network, do you have any significant, reliable sourcing to show notability? Yoninah (talk) 21:00, 1 January 2018 (UTC)
@Yoninah: There's that one source in the article that suggests her album won an award for best cover art, as well as coverage from Billboard Japan. There's's also that Barks.jp link which discusses in detail an event she had in Indonesia, so yes there's more coverage about her elsewhere, particularly in Japanese sources. • OK, it does seem to meet WP:MUSICBIO. Restoring tick per Rasa2017's review. Yoninah (talk) 23:26, 1 January 2018 (UTC)
