WikiProject COVID-19

[edit]

I've created WikiProject COVID-19 as a temporary or permanent WikiProject and invite editors to use this space for discussing ways to improve coverage of the ongoing 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic. Please bring your ideas to the project/talk page. Stay safe, --Another Believer (Talk) 18:18, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Available data for Switzerland

[edit]

Here is a list of data sources for Switzerland:

unfortunately many cantons do not publish their own data and thus data is inconsistent. Some authors (Daniel) have resorted to use the published per 100'000 case numbers to infer the total number of cases which is also what I did for the approximate numbers (in the table indicated with ~). --hroest 18:53, 21 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, the data of "corona-data" is not consistent. Some values change even more than 5 days after. Let TI be 'total infected'. Example: on 30.4.20 TI = 29'505 and on 1.5.20 TI = 29'614, hence difference 109 but the data says 101 new infected on 1.5. (and 117 on 30.4 respectively 92 on 2.4) Tensorproduct (talk) 15:19, 9 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I think the total number of confirmed infections is save to use from "corona-data" after ~10 days, but I now have seen changes in the number of total deaths going back as far as a whole month. Tensorproduct (talk) 11:51, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
