Should the "county maintained" state parks (i. e. Frank Gotch State Park) be listed? Brandonrush Woo pig sooie 18:00, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. From what quick research I've done, they all appear to be protected areas, and they are all state owned. (Though they do not have to be state or federally owned to merit notability as a protected area.) Normally, I would place a state park leased to another government body under the regular "state parks" section, but since Iowa has 19 such parks, I think they merit their own section. They already have a section on List of Iowa state parks, with a cite. I have added them to the navbox. –Sparkgap (talk) 20:39, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
