Merge with Buckinghamshire schools template[edit]

I am proposing to merge this template with the Schools in Buckinghamshire template. Every other template of this type covers ceremonial counties with no separation for unitary authorities, Template:Schools in Berkshire is a good example. Milton Keynes is in Buckinghamshire, so the schools belong there. Oliver Fury, Esq. message • contributions 18:35, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Romansfield PRU - is it a school?[edit]

User:Throughgrittedteeth added Romansfield PRU to the list of special schools. But it isn't a school as such is it, it's just an interevention centre [isn't it?]. Its inclusion needs to jusitified: Ihave asked that he do so here but others may wish to join the discussion.

By the way, if it is included, the 'PRU' need to be spelt out. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 16:05, 3 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Pupil referral units can and are included in these type of templates for English schools (as they are in effect the child's school while they are attending, even if only for a short time). I'm not sure though it should be included on this template if it is only a redlink. Bleaney (talk) 22:54, 3 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
OK if the principle is clear. Presumably the person who added it intends to write the article. In the meantime, I'll take it out until he/she does. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 15:54, 7 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
