Not actively being worked on[edit]
- North Otago Memorial Oaks: add Wikidata entries for all memorial oaks and link to those memorialised (aim is to take photos and get co-ordinates to make a map), create Wikipedia page about
- New Zealand Libraries: progressively add NZ libraries to Wikidata, or expand existing entries (continuation of first edit-a-thon I attended in January 2019)
- Waitaki: progressively improve the breadth and depth of Waitaki's coverage in English Wikipedia, Wikivoyage, Wikidata, Commons, and Wikisource
- New Zealand Science Awards: improve coverage of New Zealand science awards
- University of Canterbury Research Medal: add recipients and improve Wikidata entries for recipients
- Hutton Medal: add template for recipients of the Hutton Medal and add to recipients articles
Someday/maybe projects[edit]
Ideas for other potential future projects:
- New Zealand charities id: create a property so that organisations can be linked to the Charities Register, can then be used a) as an identifier, b) for stated in qualifiers
- New Zealand government agencies editathon: improve the quality of the pages about New Zealand government agencies, at the moment they are generally of a low quality
- New Zealand government registers: improve Wikidata entries for official registers, such as company, incorporated societies, etc
