Phase 2: Get all historic and repealed Acts into Wikidata

Tasks[edit]

  • Category page on Wikipedia (Category:New Zealand Statutes) - make sure all entries are instances of a New Zealand statute 25 June 2019
  • Update details for all items that have Wikidata entries
  • Create a list of all statutes from the New Zealand legislation website
  • Model Wikidata properties for Acts
  • Reconcile with what is in Wikidata using OpenRefine* Add the NZ Law Style Guide to Wikidata and the OpenLibrary
  • Add NZ LII identifier (similar to Australian LII identifier)?
  • Reprinted Acts - include as editions, for an example see Social Security Act 2018 (Q98837264)
  • Commons Categories for NZ Acts - organise so easier to access
