The following table lists records of extreme temperature in territories of Australia and Oceania. Much of the available extreme temperature data recorded in the smaller Pacific islands is of poor quality and is not included here. The aim is to present a reliable list of extreme temperatures. The elevation in metres above sea level of locations reporting record minimum temperatures is given where relevant to the temperature recorded.
