GLIFL

[edit]

Hi M. Burmy,

Just so you know, regardless of how hard it is to type something, the Wikipedia convention is to place articles under their full proper name, and avoid abbreviations wherever possible. Therefore, the content of GLIFL should be moved back to Great Lakes Indoor Football League and GLIFL made a redirect.

I wanted to let you know because I think we're going to need the help of an admin to do so. Please remember, it's nothing personal. We're just trying to make the best encyclopedia we can. =) Thanks for your contributions so far!

unblock

[edit]

please.

I can see you are editting so you are not currently blocked, I can also see you personally were never blocked, so the block is likely the result of an autoblock or a block of an IP address. For future reference we aren't mind readers the block page tells you that you need to give us the detail of the block, without it we cannot do much. --pgk(talk) 11:35, 9 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Interscope Website

[edit]

See the Interscope website. I know that we all know that Game defected from G-Unit, but The Game is still on that list. Regardless! Thanks. LILVOKA.

Regarding your comments here

[edit]

Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on the contributor; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. -Whomp 23:59, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Regarding the Prison Break page

[edit]

Hi, M Burmy. In response to your question, my reason for deleting "Mike Jones" is that the character he portrayed on the show is not significant enough. He may have appeared in two episodes but both scenes were less than a minute. If you look at the other actors that are listed, they portray characters that are significant supporting roles in the show. Furthermore, he may be notable in your opinion, but I have never heard of him prior to this. Regards, Ladida 23:24, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Edit Summary Request

[edit]

I have noted that you often edit without an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s). Thanks! -- Kukini 16:46, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lowell Devils

[edit]

Hey, can you you check out Talk:Lowell Devils. I'm iffy on the status of this name change. ccwaters 13:40, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the trivia section from Ridin' because WP:NOT a indiscriminate collection of information. You can't add every little detail of uncylclopedic infomation, even if it's true like trivia sections in articles. I hope you understand. Thanks Jaranda wat's sup 19:06, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Articles for deletion

[edit]

When you list something for deletion, you need to add the discussion subpage to the day's listings. For something nominated today, that would be Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Log/2006 June 22. Full instructions on how to nominate something for deletion are at WP:AFD. --Carnildo 21:38, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Puzzled on Pictures!

[edit]

I'd love to put up the Alaska Wild's inagural logo, but I get too confused on how exactly the picture process works. I'm not sure what to do (in a step-by-step format), along with the fact I'll get in trouble with copyright laws. Around here, I'm more of an info. guy and not a picture guy. -Alakazam Saturday. Toledo Rumble

I couldn't find any info about the team on the website, so I couldn't upload the logo.--Nick Dillinger 21:24, 5 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OrphanBot

[edit]

Don't lose hope! We can still crush OrphanBot's regime!

I think I'll recreate the page. See it soon! M. Burmy

Alright, but don't remove the page moves and redirects I did. Micoolio101 11:31, 9 July 2006 (UTC)Micoolio101[reply]

I redirected your user page to your talk page, because I think it seems appropriate. Micoolio101 11:32, 9 July 2006 (UTC)Micoolio101[reply]

Latest News

[edit]

The reason I did that on the ECHL site is to let everyone know and I did not know if you wanted the San Diego Gulls site removed or now. So basically it was just sort of a news flash. If there is a better way for me to do that let me know. Maybe next time I should take on the project myself. John R G 06:16, 11 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

blocked

[edit]

In addition to the reasons given in the block summary, you are also disrupting Wikipedia to prove a point and encouraging violation of copyright law/policy. If there's anything I've forgetten, please let me know. — Jul. 13, '06 [13:38] <freak|talk>

I'm leaving

[edit]

Okay, OrphanBot, Carnildo and the admins have really pissed me off. I'm now leaving this place, and moving to Uncyclopedia. Maybe there I'll be surrounded by REAL people! There is a very small chance I will return.

While I'm gone, I want you to do a few tasks for me:

1. Re-do the petition against OrphanBot. If it gets deleted, wait a week or two, and re-do it with a different name (choose something that does not have a negative view on OrphanBot)

2. If Carnildo is an admin, request de-adminship on him. (A good reason is he makes smart-ass remarks) If it fails, wait a month or two, then try again. (find some negative things about him)

3. Become an admin. This will be a great honour for me & you.

I'll also give you the link to my new userpage on Unclyclopedia.

Sorry it has come to this...

User:Micoolio101

P.S. I have been temporarily blocked and writing this on an IP account. If this gets reverted, I'll revert it back on my account.

The article Florida Frenzy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of meeting WP:GNG

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
