I would like feedback on the following additions I would like to make on the Homewood Suites Page. You can see the wiki entry here.

Corporate Responsibility[edit]

In 2010, Homewood Suites began a partnership with Books for Kids, a New York City based children’s literacy advocacy group. The two organizations opened a library in July 2010 in Memphis, Tennessee. [1]

Lewis the Duck[edit]

Lewis the Duck is the mascot of Homewood Suites. He is a cartoon characterization of a duck that appears in the brand’s logo and is the central character in Homewood Suites’ children’s book series. Lewis the Duck has also appeared in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Lewis’ signature dress item is a striped red tie.

Lewis the Duck made his debut in the 2008, in the brand’s first children’s book, “Lewis the Duck and His Long Trip.” [2] The book explains business travel to children whose parents are often away from home for work. Lewis the Duck has appeared in two additional books since, “Lewis the Duck Goes to Canada” and “Lewis the Duck Goes to Mexico” which was release in November 2010. Lewis’s family is portrayed in the book series as well: wife Lois, son Lance and daughter Lisa.

In addition to appearing in Homewood Suites’ children’s book series, there is also a Lewis the Duck computer game - “Lewis the Duck Home to Homewood Challenge”; customizable Lewis postcards and luggage tags; and children’s activity sheets.

Lewis, Lois, Lance and Lisa made in appearance in the 2010 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in the “On the Roll Again” float, a series of wooden pull toys. Homewood Suites was the first hotel brand to be featured in the parade’s history and the Lewis the Duck float will remain in the parade through 2012. [3]
