Here, we are polite, thoughtful, smart, geeky people dogs, trying only to do something which is undoubtedly good in the world: write and give away a free encyclopedia. —Jimbo Wales
All archiving tasks which used to be performed by the MiszaBots are now performed by lowercase sigmabot III without the need to change the {{User:MiszaBot/config}} configuration. The actual MiszaBots are neither functioning nor expected to become functional. Please do not post here regarding archiving bots.
When posting on this page, please observe the following guidelines:
Discussions should be kept together, so unless you request otherwise, I will reply to your posts here and will also watch pages where I have posted myself and expect replies there. Do not use the {{talkback}} template or derivatives thereof here.
Keep content disputes on relevant articles' talk pages.
I'm not interested in XfD discussion adverts - these will be ignored. Similar requests by email are redirected to /dev/null immediately.
Don't revert edits to this talk page, unless they're obvious vandalism like blanking/malicious editing of other's comments etc. I'll deal with stupid/hate/spam messages myself by promptly ignoring them.
Thank you!
This user talk page might be watched by friendly talk page stalkers, which means that someone other than me might reply to your query. Their input is welcome and their help with messages that I cannot reply to quickly is appreciated.
This page has archives. Sections older than 30 days may be automatically archived by Lowercase sigmabot III when more than 5 sections are present.
You've been unsubscribed from the Feedback Request Service[edit]
Hi Misza13! You're receiving this notification because you were previously subscribed to the Feedback Request Service, but you haven't made any edits to the English Wikipedia in over three years.
In order to declutter the Feedback Request Service list, and to produce a greater chance of active users being randomly selected to receive invitations to contribute, you've been unsubscribed, along with all other users who have made no edits in three years or more.
You do not need to do anything about this - if you are happy to not receive Feedback Request Service messages, thank you very much for your contributions in the past, and this will be the last you hear from the service. If, however, you would like to resubscribe yourself, you can follow the below instructions to do so:
Decide which categories are of interest to you, under the RfC and/or GA headings.
Paste {{Frs user|{{subst:currentuser}}|limit}} underneath the relevant heading(s), where limit is the maximum number of requests you wish to receive for that category per month.
Publish the page.
If you've just come back after a wikibreak and are seeing this message, welcome back! You can follow the above instructions to re-activate your subscription. Likewise, if this is an alternate account, please consider subscribing your main account in much the same way.
Note that if you had a rename and left your old name on the FRS page, you may be receiving this message. If so, make sure your new account name is on the FRS list instead.
Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:16, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Misza13! I hope you are doing well. I just wanted to let you know that I added you to Wikipedia:Missing Wikipedians. If you ever come back, or choose not to have your name on this list, just let me know. Hope you come back, even just to check in, Lima Bean Farmer (talk) 19:40, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@AriaTess: There are two reasons. One is that you omitted the newline before the first parameter; second, even after that is fixed, it won't archive anything until there are more than 4 threads, because you have set |minthreadsleft=4. See User:Lowercase sigmabot III/Archive HowTo#Causes of no archiving, fifth and ninth bullets. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 22:28, 21 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Misza13: Thank you for your response. I already fixed. Best regards. AriaTess (talk) 04:42, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@AriaTess: Misza13 didn't reply - I did. Misza13 hasn't been around for more than six years, except for one day last year. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 08:04, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Misza13! When I want to put {{Talkarchive}} template on my archive page, I encounter this error:
An automated filter has identified this edit as potentially unconstructive, and it has been disallowed. If this edit is constructive, please report this error.
1. The bot should add it automatically when it creates an archive.
2. Misza is not active and it seems their bot's job was taken over by User:ArchiveBot, which is ran by a different user.
Thank you, @CLYDEFRANKLIN 01:00, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I am trying to add the view source to my userpage, and I followed the instructions availible. Am I misunderstanding how it works, or is there something else I need to do? 🙚Ella🙘 17:37, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Allaoii: Misza13 has made few edits in the last nine years, and none at all since 2020. What is this view source of which you speak? --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 08:48, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Redrose64: They created a script intended to let you play around with test code on the edit source button without the possibility of accidentally clicking save changes. I found it through the user page style guide under "Your Scripts", but I cannot figure out how to make it work. I'm on a Chromebook if that helps — Preceding unsigned comment added by Allaoii (talk • contribs) 15:47, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What script? Where are the instructions? The user page has nothing at all about style guides or scripts. In the complete absence of Misza13, I cannot help unless I am told what I am looking for. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 17:36, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Right, short answer: User:Misza13/viewSource.js no longer exists. Longer answer: it was deleted in August 2020, around about the time that Miza13 left for good. The installation instructions haven't been updated in sixteen years, they assume that you're using the MonoBook skin, but I expect that you're not. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 21:37, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Redrose64: apologies, I took a break from Wikipedia for school, and I've kind of forgotten how everything works. Thank you for the answer, I will try to be more direct in my other conversations from now on. 🙚Ella🙘 16:45, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
