The Center for Design and Geopolitics (D:GP) is an interdisciplinary think-tank based at Calit2, The California Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technology at University of California, San Diego. It was founded in 2010 by Benjamin H. Bratton.

D:GP's research examines the intersections of planetary-scale computing, political philosophy of sovereignty and territory, with speculative design and policy programs. Key areas of research are ecological governance, ubiquitous computing, and post-humanism.

The Centers' Designing Geopolitics symposium included a diverse range of speakers including Larry Smarr, Vernor Vinge, Lev Manovich, Naomi Oreskes, Charles Kennel, Teddy Cruz, Manuel De Landa, James Fowler, Norman Klein, Geoff Manaugh, Casey Reas, Metahaven, McKenzie Wark, Elizabeth Losh, and others.
