History

EP YAYING Fashion Group (Chinese EP雅莹集团; pinyin: EP YAYING ji tuan ) can be traced back to 1979, when late founder Mr. Zhang Bao Rong established a collectively owned village enterprise.

In 1995, his son Mr. Zhang Hwaming and his wife, Ms. Dai Xue Ming, registered the trademark for the brand “YAYING,” meaning “elegant” and “prosperous” in Chinese. Based in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, Mr Zhang Hwaming advanced the business to create a high-quality womenswear fashion brand, which today has over 800 stores across Greater China.

EP YAYING and the Group’s owned brands EP YAYING, DOUBLOVE, N.Paia and EP KIDS, along with their multi-brand retail outlets are present in more than 210 cities across China and Macau with over 800 stores, making it a significant luxury retail player in China.

Design and Craftsmanship

The family-owned second-generation business is strongly rooted and influenced by its Chinese heritage and quality craftsmanship, referencing local culture, nature and art, within its apparel design and materials.

The Group hosts regular collaborations with artists and designers from all over the world such as interior designer David Thulstrup from Denmark, and Simon Ma from China, as well holding regular exhibitions on fashion and culture. Their aim is to support young artists, students and emerging designers from China, providing a platform for national and global exposure.

International Expansion

In 2015, the Group participated in the China Pavilion at the Milan Expo, where volunteers, workers and government officials in the China pavilion wore clothes designed by EP YAYING, under the brand name Elegant Prosper, at the Milan Expo.

The Group ventured into the international luxury fashion market with a YAYING store in Macau, opening at The Venetian Shoppes in 2010. The company is expanding globally, with more stores set to launch in Asia.
