Athur Stephen Born (September 2, 1904 – February 13, 1968) was a retired Rear admiral of the United States Navy during World War II, who commanded the aircraft carriers USS Yorktown, and USS Badoeng Strait.
Early life and career
[edit]Born was born in Racine, WI, son of Frank and Martha(nee: Madera) Born. He attended St. John's Military Academy in Delafield, WI.
