November 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Ben Stein has been reverted. Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\byoutube\.com' (link(s): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2I0QN-FYkpw) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image or a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 19:36, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ottawa and Calgary populations[edit]

Welcome!

Hi there, thanks for your edits with regards to the Ottawa and Calgary population update. I'm not exactly sure how the information should be updated—usually it takes the official StatsCan data—but since there is an official source publishing it (the Calgary Herald source you mentionned in your edit summary), the information should definitely be added (I'll look for appropriate sources and try to add it as soon as I can).

Might I suggest that you register an account with Wikipedia; it's free, requires no registration, and has a number of benefits (see WP:Why create an account?). Additionally, you might find the following pages helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. Again, welcome! -M.Nelson (talk) 23:34, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • I did my best to add to the Ottawa and Calgary articles; I didn't end up adding much more than you had. Feel free to look at how the articles are now, and don't hesitate to improve them further if you can. Cheers, -M.Nelson (talk) 00:45, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

May 2016[edit]

Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Chota K. Naidu  with this edit, without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 20:29, 30 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Samf4u (talk) 17:11, 11 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
